In August, we rolled out several updates to enhance how you manage travel. These include smart notifications for travelers and bookers, improved flight search filters, a new hotel filter for group bookings, and faster refund processing.

Smart notifications for travellers and managers

We have introduced new smart notification features designed to improve communication for both travellers and travel managers.

New traveller notifications for instant updates

Traveller notifications directly inform crew members when a booking is created or cancelled. This reduces the need for back-and-forth communication with travel planners and cuts down delays.

Detailed approval notifications and insights for travel managers

For travel managers, notifications now display the time remaining to approve a booking before a fare expires. This information is also shown at key stages in the booking and approval process. Additionally, C Teleport now provides more detailed insights into approval requirements, including which rules must be met, who needs to approve, and the status of those approvals.

New filtering options are now available to make your flight search more straightforward.

‘Recommended’ tab for best price-convenience results

A ‘recommended’ tab is now available in our flight search system. This filter ranks results based on the best price-convenience ratio, helping you quickly find flights that balance cost and convenience, reducing the need to scroll through numerous options.

Upgraded accuracy of ‘must include/avoid’ filter

The accuracy of the ‘must include/must avoid’ filter has been improved, allowing you to efficiently copy and paste flight numbers, such as NK-885 and NK885, directly from flight details into the filter without the need to remove dashes.

Improved search results for major city hubs

We are introducing significant improvements to search results for flights provided by New Distribution Capability (NDC) and low-cost carriers (LCC). The improvements specifically address flights departing from or arriving at major city hubs with multiple airports, such as London, New York, and Tokyo.

Hotels: room filters, tax transparency

New features have been added to how you book hotels, making the process smoother.

New hotel filter for room availability

You can now use a filter to search for hotels based on the number of rooms available. This allows you to quickly find options that meet your group booking needs, whether it’s 9 rooms or any other specific requirement.

City taxes now included in hotel bookings

All known taxes, including city tax, are now part of the booking price, giving you confidence that no additional fees will be charged directly to your crew upon arrival.

Common booking archive now available via mobile

Our recently launched common booking archive, which links hotel and flight bookings together, is now also available on our mobile app. This feature makes it easier to manage and track related bookings, especially when making changes or cancellations. The update includes advanced filtering options and an export option, allowing you to quickly access, sort, and export all your bookings, even from large datasets, without performance issues.

The archive is also available offline, enabling you to browse current and future bookings even when you don’t have access to the internet.

Faster refunds for credit card payments

Direct refunds to credit cards are now available, ensuring a faster and more convenient process for both you and your crew.
