C Teleport now offers you the option to connect to International SOS or any other Duty of Care provider. Your traveller’s flight information can be sent to ISOS so your company is always aware of where your employees are.
What is Duty of Care?
Duty of Care is the legal and moral obligation of employers to take care and ensure the well-being of their employees when they are sent to work abroad. Generally, the risks of working abroad are not necessarily higher, but you want to know if any of your employees are around in case of accidents, terror attacks or disease spreadings occur.
Different companies offer Duty of Care services, and help you with risk management before, during and after your employees’ trips. It can be through tracking the location of your employees, sending you alerts about any threat (e.g. COVID-19) and 24/7 health & security support for your teams.
Who is it for?
Duty of Care is used by companies and organizations of all sizes that send a large number of their employees abroad for business or to work on different vessels and platforms such as dredging vessels and oil rigs.
Why do companies need Duty of Care?
Companies are legally responsible for their employees’ safety whenever they’re performing business-related activities locally or internationally. There are diverse reasons why your company should consider contracting a Duty of Care provider:
- It gives peace of mind to you and your employees
- You can be sure you will find the support needed in case of an accident or emergency.
- You will always be able to see where your employees are and if they’re working in a high-risk area.
- Your employees will feel safe whenever they are working with you, and this will help you to increase retention.
Why do companies need Duty of Care?
C Teleport is now able to send information about a passenger’s booking to your Duty of Care provider. Currently, the platform is mainly working with International SOS, however, we can set it up for any other company you’re working with.
The process is very simple, you just have to request the connection to International SOS to us and the flight information of your employee will be sent to ISOS for you to track.
